FINGERLIME FACTS & FIGURES

Fingerlimes are not produced only for chefs and cooking, they can utilised in distillation (Gin) used as a spice or flavour (powdered), undergo extraction (oils and cosmetics)

Fingerlimes have been identified to potentially have opportunities to be a nutraceutical, meaning a pharmaceutical alternative that can have physiological benefits.

Fingerlime are high in folate, potassium, vitamin E and vitamin C.

Fingerlimes are hardy and whilst endemic to the subtropical area of Northern New South Wales and South East Queensland, with cultivation, genetic selection and new growing methods, commercial production has expanded across a wide range of climates from tropical to temperate climates.
